Ecclesiastes 7:9-11

⁹Do not be quick in your spirit to be angry,
for irritation settles in the bosom of fools.

¹⁰Do not say, “Why were the earlier days better than these days?”
For it is not from wisdom that you inquire this.

¹¹Wisdom is good with an inheritance,
and an advantage to those who see the sun.
