¹⁴ There ^(A)was a small city with few men in it and a great king came to it, surrounded it and constructed large siegeworks against it.

³³ “Therefore, thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He will not come to this city or shoot an arrow there; and he will not come before it with a shield, or throw up a ^(A)siege ramp against it.

⁶ For thus says the Lord of hosts,

² Then ^(A)lay siege against it, build a siege wall, ^[a]raise up a ramp, pitch camps and place battering rams against it all around.

⁸ He will slay your daughters ^[a]on the mainland with the sword; and he will make ^(A)siege walls against you, cast up a ^(B)ramp against you and raise up a large shield against you.
