15 He has abolished the law with its commandments and ordinances, so that he might create in himself one new humanity in place of the two, thus making peace, 16 and might reconcile both groups to God in one body[a] through the cross, thus putting to death that hostility through it.[b] 17 So he came and proclaimed peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near;

15 by setting aside in his flesh(A) the law with its commands and regulations.(B) His purpose was to create in himself one(C) new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross,(D) by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace(E) to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.(F)
