9 (A) God, who created everything, wanted me to help everyone understand the mysterious plan that had always been hidden in his mind. 10 Then God would use the church to show the powers and authorities in the spiritual world that he has many different kinds of wisdom.
11 God did this according to his eternal plan. And he was able to do what he had planned because of all Christ Jesus our Lord had done.

9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery,(A) which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God(B) should be made known(C) to the rulers and authorities(D) in the heavenly realms,(E) 11 according to his eternal purpose(F) that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
