¹⁸ They ^(A)are darkened in their understanding, ^(B)alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to ^(C)their hardness of heart.

¹⁴ As obedient children, ^(A)do not be conformed to the passions ^(B)of your former ignorance,

²³ For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, ^(A)‘To the unknown god.’ ^(B)What therefore you worship ^(C)as unknown, this I proclaim to you.
