5 At the end of this time, the king held a week-long banquet(A) in the garden courtyard(B) of the royal palace(C) for all the people, from the greatest to the least,(D) who were present in the fortress of Susa.(E) 6 White and blue linen hangings were fastened with fine white and purple linen cords to silver rods on marble[a] columns. Gold and silver couches(F) were arranged on a mosaic pavement of red feldspar,[b] marble, mother-of-pearl, and precious stones.

New International Version
5 When these days were over, the king gave a banquet, lasting seven days,(A) in the enclosed garden(B) of the king’s palace, for all the people from the least to the greatest who were in the citadel of Susa. 6 The garden had hangings of white and blue linen, fastened with cords of white linen and purple material to silver rings on marble pillars. There were couches(C) of gold and silver on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of-pearl and other costly stones.
