6 The garden had hangings of white and blue linen, fastened with cords of white linen and purple material to silver rings on marble pillars. There were couches(A) of gold and silver on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of-pearl and other costly stones.

8 Now when the king returned from the palace garden into the [a]place where they had been drinking wine, Haman was falling on (A)the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he even assault the queen with me in the house?” As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.
