The Greatness of Mordecai
10 King ·Xerxes [L Ahasuerus] demanded ·taxes everywhere, even from the cities [tribute on the land and] on the seacoast. 2 And all the great ·things [achievements] ·Xerxes [L Ahasuerus] did by his ·power [authority] and strength ·are [L are they not…?] written in the ·record books [chronicles; annals] of the kings of Media and Persia. Also written in those record books are all the things done by Mordecai, whom the king made great.

The Greatness of Mordecai
10 King Xerxes imposed tribute throughout the empire, to its distant shores.(A) 2 And all his acts of power and might, together with a full account of the greatness of Mordecai,(B) whom the king had promoted,(C) are they not written in the book of the annals(D) of the kings of Media and Persia?
