International Standard Version
21 Because the midwives feared God, he provided families[a] for them. 22 Meanwhile, Pharaoh continued commanding all of his people, “You’re to throw every Hebrew[b] son who is born into the Nile River,[c] but you’re to allow every Hebrew[d] daughter to live.”

Exodus 1:21-22
New International Version
21 And because the midwives feared(A) God, he gave them families(B) of their own.
22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile,(C) but let every girl live.”(D)
