Modern English Version
34 So the people took their dough before it was leavened, with their kneading troughs being bound up in their clothes on their shoulders. 35 Now the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses, and they requested of the Egyptians articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing. 36 And the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.

34 So the people took their dough before the yeast was added, and carried it on their shoulders in kneading troughs(A) wrapped in clothing. 35 The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold(B) and for clothing.(C) 36 The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed(D) toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered(E) the Egyptians.
