Exodus 13:4-6
Good News Translation
4 You are leaving Egypt on this day in the first month, the month of Abib. 5 The Lord solemnly promised your ancestors to give you the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. When he brings you into that rich and fertile land, you must celebrate this festival in the first month of every year. 6 For seven days you must eat unleavened bread and on the seventh day there is to be a festival to honor the Lord.

4 Today, in the month of Aviv,(A) you are leaving. 5 When the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites,(B) Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites(C)—the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey(D)—you are to observe this ceremony(E) in this month: 6 For seven days eat bread made without yeast and on the seventh day hold a festival(F) to the Lord.
