Exodus 14:20-22

20 So it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud [a]along with the darkness, yet it gave light at night. Thus the one did not come near the other all night.
21 (A)Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord [b]swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into (B)dry land, so (C)the waters were divided. 22 (D)The sons of Israel [c]went through the midst of the sea on the dry land, and (E)the waters were like a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

New International Version
20 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness(A) to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.
21 Then Moses stretched out his hand(B) over the sea,(C) and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind(D) and turned it into dry land.(E) The waters were divided,(F) 22 and the Israelites went through the sea(G) on dry ground,(H) with a wall(I) of water on their right and on their left.
