22 Then the (A)children of Israel went through the midst of the Sea upon the dry ground, and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left hand.
23 And the Egyptians pursued and went after them to the midst of the Sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
24 Now, in the morning [a]watch, when the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians, out of the fiery and cloudy pillar, he struck the host of the Egyptians with fear.

New International Version
22 and the Israelites went through the sea(A) on dry ground,(B) with a wall(C) of water on their right and on their left.
23 The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen(D) followed them into the sea. 24 During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud(E) at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion.(F)
