22 And the people of Israel went through the sea on dry land. The waters were like a wall to them on their right and on their left. 23 Then the Egyptians followed them. All Pharaoh’s horses and war-wagons and horsemen went in the sea after them. 24 In the morning hours, the Lord looked down on the Egyptian army through the fire and cloud. And He made the Egyptian army afraid.

22 and the Israelites went through the sea(A) on dry ground,(B) with a wall(C) of water on their right and on their left.
23 The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen(D) followed them into the sea. 24 During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud(E) at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion.(F)
