14 (A)Then the layer of dew [a]evaporated, and behold, on the [b]surface of the wilderness (B)there was a fine flake-like thing, fine as the frost on the ground. 15 And the sons of Israel saw it and said to one another, “[c]What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “(C)It is the bread which Yahweh has given you to eat. 16 This is [d]what Yahweh has commanded, ‘Gather of it every man [e]as much as he should eat; you shall take an [f](D)omer apiece according to the number of persons each of you has in his tent.’”

14 When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost(A) on the ground appeared on the desert floor. 15 When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, “What is it?” For they did not know(B) what it was.
Moses said to them, “It is the bread(C) the Lord has given you to eat. 16 This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Everyone is to gather as much as they need. Take an omer[a](D) for each person you have in your tent.’”
