18 And when they measured with the omer, the one gathering more had no surplus, and the one gathering less had no lack; they gathered each according to what he could eat.[a] 19 And Moses said to them, “Let no one leave any of it until morning.” 20 But they did not listen to Moses. Some people[b] left some of it until morning, and it bred worms and stank. And Moses was angry with them.

19 Then Moses said to them, “No one is to keep any of it until morning.”(B)

20 However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell.(C) So Moses was angry(D) with them.
