13 And Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.[a]

14 And Yahweh said to Moses, “Write this as a memorial in the scroll and recite it in the hearing of[b] Joshua, because I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under the heavens.”

15 And Moses built an altar, and he called its name Yahweh Is My Banner.
