²¹ Moreover you shall select from all the people ^(A)able men, such as ^(B)fear God, ^(C)men of truth, ^(D)hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

¹⁸ And you shall take one ^(A)leader of every tribe to divide the land for the inheritance.

¹⁵ So I took ^(A)the heads of your tribes, wise and knowledgeable men, and ^[a]made them heads over you, leaders of thousands, leaders of hundreds, leaders of fifties, leaders of tens, and officers for your tribes.

¹⁴ and with him ten rulers, one ruler each from the chief house of every tribe of Israel; and ^(A)each one was the head of the house of his father among the ^[a]divisions of Israel.
