3 and her two sons, of whom the name of the one was Gershom (for he said, “I have been a sojourner[a] in a foreign land”), 4 and the name of the other, Elie′zer[b] (for he said, “The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh”). 5 And Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses in the wilderness where he was encamped at the mountain of God.

3 and her two sons.(A) One son was named Gershom,[a] for Moses said, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land”;(B) 4 and the other was named Eliezer,[b](C) for he said, “My father’s God was my helper;(D) he saved me from the sword of Pharaoh.”
5 Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, together with Moses’ sons and wife, came to him in the wilderness, where he was camped near the mountain(E) of God.
