15 He said to the people, “Be ready by the third day. Do not come near a woman.”[a]
16 On the third day, when morning came, there was thunder and lightning. A thick cloud was over the mountain, and there was a very loud blast of a ram’s horn. All the people in the camp trembled. 17 Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.

15 Then he said to the people, “Prepare yourselves for the third day. Abstain(A) from sexual relations.”
16 On the morning of the third day there was thunder(B) and lightning, with a thick cloud(C) over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast.(D) Everyone in the camp trembled.(E) 17 Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.(F)
