7 After Moses came back, he summoned the elders of the people and set before them all these words that the Lord had commanded him. 8 Then all the people responded together, “We will do all that the Lord has spoken.”(A) So Moses brought the people’s words back to the Lord.
9 The Lord said to Moses, “I am going to come to you in a dense cloud,(B) so that the people will hear when I speak(C) with you and will always believe you.” Then Moses reported the people’s words to the Lord.

7 So Moses went back and summoned the elders(A) of the people and set before them all the words the Lord had commanded him to speak.(B) 8 The people all responded together, “We will do everything the Lord has said.”(C) So Moses brought their answer back to the Lord.
9 The Lord said to Moses, “I am going to come to you in a dense cloud,(D) so that the people will hear me speaking(E) with you and will always put their trust(F) in you.” Then Moses told the Lord what the people had said.
