Exodus 2:22-24

22 Then she gave birth to (A)a son, and he named him [a]Gershom, for he said, “I have been (B)a stranger in a foreign land.”
23 Now it came about in the course of those many days that the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel (C)groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and (D)their cry for help because of their bondage ascended to God. 24 So (E)God heard their groaning; and God remembered (F)His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

New International Version
22 Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom,[a](A) saying, “I have become a foreigner(B) in a foreign land.”
23 During that long period,(C) the king of Egypt died.(D) The Israelites groaned in their slavery(E) and cried out, and their cry(F) for help because of their slavery went up to God. 24 God heard their groaning and he remembered(G) his covenant(H) with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob.
