⁷“^(A)You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not ^[a]leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.

⁷“You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.^(A)

¹²And ^(A)you shall not swear falsely by My name, so as to ^(B)profane the name of your God; I am the Lord.
