13 But if he did not lie in wait and it was an accident,[a] I will appoint for you a place to which he may flee. 14 But if a man schemes against his neighbor to kill him by treachery,[b] you will take him from my altar to die. 15 And whoever strikes[c] his father or his mother will surely be put to death.

New International Version
13 However, if it is not done intentionally, but God lets it happen, they are to flee to a place(A) I will designate. 14 But if anyone schemes and kills someone deliberately,(B) that person is to be taken from my altar and put to death.(C)
15 “Anyone who attacks[a] their father or mother is to be put to death.
