Exodus 21:30-32

30 However, you may save your own life by paying whatever fine is demanded. 31 This same law applies if the bull gores someone's son or daughter. 32 If the bull kills a slave, you must pay the slave owner 30 pieces of silver for the loss of the slave, and the bull must be killed by stoning.

New International Version
30 However, if payment is demanded, the owner may redeem his life by the payment of whatever is demanded.(A) 31 This law also applies if the bull gores a son or daughter. 32 If the bull gores a male or female slave, the owner must pay thirty shekels[a](B) of silver to the master of the slave, and the bull is to be stoned to death.
