Exodus 23:2-4
The Voice
2 Even if the majority of people are doing evil, do not follow them. Also when you are called to give testimony in a dispute, do not let the crowd pressure you into perverting justice. 3 In the same way, do not side with the poor in a complaint just because he is poor.
4 If you are walking along and come across your enemy’s ox or donkey that has wandered away, then you must return it to its owner.

2 “Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice(A) by siding with the crowd,(B) 3 and do not show favoritism(C) to a poor person in a lawsuit.
4 “If you come across your enemy’s(D) ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to return it.(E)
