^24 (A)You shall not worship their gods, you shall not serve them, and you shall not do according to their deeds; ^(B)but you shall utterly pull them down and shatter their ^(C)sacred pillars in pieces.

He Walks Among Those Who Walk in His Statutes

26 ‘You shall not make for yourselves ^[a](A)idols, nor shall you set up for yourselves ^(B)a graven image or ^(C)a sacred pillar, nor shall you ^[b]place a ^(D)carved stone in your land to bow down ^[c]to it; for I am Yahweh your God.

⁵ But thus you shall do to them: ^(A)you shall tear down their altars and shatter their sacred pillars and cut their ^[a]Asherim in pieces and burn their graven images with fire.

^3 (A)And you shall tear down their altars and shatter their sacred pillars and burn their ^[a]Asherim with fire, and you shall cut the graven images of their gods in pieces and ^(B)destroy their name from that place.

³⁰ beware lest you be ensnared ^[a]to follow them, after they are destroyed before you, and lest you inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How do these nations serve their gods, that I also may do likewise?’
