15 And Moses went up into the mount, and the cloud covered the mount. 16 And the glory of Jehovah abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 And the appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

15 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud(A) covered it, 16 and the glory(B) of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai.(C) For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from within the cloud.(D) 17 To the Israelites the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fire(E) on top of the mountain.
