Then Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

After, he took the [a]book of the covenant, and read it in the audience of the people: who said, All that the Lord hath said, we will do, and be obedient.

Then Moses took the (A)blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the [b]blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these things.

Moses(A) took half of the blood(B) and put it in bowls, and the other half he splashed(C) against the altar. Then he took the Book of the Covenant(D) and read it to the people. They responded, “We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.”(E)

Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people(F) and said, “This is the blood of the covenant(G) that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
