6 Moses took half the blood and set it in basins; the other half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. 7 He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded, “We will do and obey everything that the Lord has commanded.”
8 Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you concerning all these words.”(A)

New International Version
6 Moses(A) took half of the blood(B) and put it in bowls, and the other half he splashed(C) against the altar. 7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant(D) and read it to the people. They responded, “We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.”(E)
8 Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people(F) and said, “This is the blood of the covenant(G) that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

4 the priest will order that two live clean birds,(A) cedar wood,(B) scarlet(C) yarn, and hyssop(D) be brought for the one who is to be cleansed. 5 Then the priest will order that one of the birds be slaughtered over fresh water in a clay pot. 6 He is to take the live bird together with the cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop, and dip them all into the blood of the bird that was slaughtered over the fresh water.
