21 In the tent of meeting,(A) outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law,(B) Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps(C) burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance(D) among the Israelites for the generations to come.

The Priestly Garments

28 “Have Aaron(E) your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu,(F) Eleazar and Ithamar,(G) so they may serve me as priests.(H)

26 So he stood at the entrance to the camp and said, “Whoever is for the Lord, come to me.” And all the Levites rallied to him.

27 Then he said to them, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor.’”(A) 28 The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died. 29 Then Moses said, “You have been set apart to the Lord today, for you were against your own sons and brothers, and he has blessed you this day.”

“Your Thummim and Urim(B) belong
    to your faithful servant.(C)
You tested(D) him at Massah;
    you contended with him at the waters of Meribah.(E)
He said of his father and mother,(F)
    ‘I have no regard for them.’
He did not recognize his brothers
    or acknowledge his own children,
but he watched over your word
    and guarded your covenant.(G)
10 He teaches(H) your precepts to Jacob
    and your law to Israel.(I)
He offers incense before you(J)
    and whole burnt offerings on your altar.(K)
11 Bless all his skills, Lord,
    and be pleased with the work of his hands.(L)
Strike down those who rise against him,
    his foes till they rise no more.”
