7 Take the anointing oil, pour it on his head, and anoint(A) him. 8 You must also bring his sons and clothe them with tunics. 9 Tie the sashes on Aaron and his sons and fasten headbands on them. The priesthood is to be theirs by a permanent statute. This is the way you will ordain Aaron and[a] his sons.(B)

7 Take the anointing oil(A) and anoint him by pouring it on his head. 8 Bring his sons and dress them in tunics(B) 9 and fasten caps on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons.[a](C) The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance.(D)
