Exodus 3:5-7

5 Then God said, “Don’t come any closer. Take off your sandals. You are standing on holy ground. 6 I am the God of your ancestors. I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.”
Moses covered his face because he was afraid to look at God.
7 Then the Lord said, “I have seen the troubles my people have suffered in Egypt, and I have heard their cries when the Egyptians hurt them. I know about their pain.

5 “Do not come any closer,”(A) God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”(B) 6 Then he said, “I am the God of your father,[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.”(C) At this, Moses hid(D) his face, because he was afraid to look at God.(E)
7 The Lord said, “I have indeed seen(F) the misery(G) of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned(H) about their suffering.(I)
