Exodus 3:5-7
Modern English Version
5 He said, “Do not approach here. Remove your sandals from off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” 6 Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.
7 The Lord said, “I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry on account of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

5 “Do not come any closer,”(A) God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”(B) 6 Then he said, “I am the God of your father,[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.”(C) At this, Moses hid(D) his face, because he was afraid to look at God.(E)
7 The Lord said, “I have indeed seen(F) the misery(G) of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned(H) about their suffering.(I)
