⁷ The Lord said, “I have surely ^(A)seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have given heed to their cry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings.

⁹ Now, behold, ^(A)the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them.

⁷ Then ^(A)we cried to the Lord, the God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our affliction and our toil and our oppression;

⁴ Behold, ^(A)the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields, and which has been withheld by you, cries out against you; and ^(B)the outcry of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of ^(C)the Lord of ^[a]Sabaoth.
