Exodus 34:14-16

14 because you are not to bow down to any other god; since Adonai — whose very name is Jealous — is a jealous God. 15 Do not make a covenant with the people living in the land. It will cause you to go astray after their gods and sacrifice to their gods. Then they will invite you to join them in eating their sacrifices, 16 and you will take their daughters as wives for your sons. Their daughters will prostitute themselves to their own gods and make your sons do the same!

New International Version
14 Do not worship any other god,(A) for the Lord, whose name(B) is Jealous, is a jealous God.(C)
15 “Be careful not to make a treaty(D) with those who live in the land; for when they prostitute(E) themselves to their gods and sacrifice to them, they will invite you and you will eat their sacrifices.(F) 16 And when you choose some of their daughters as wives(G) for your sons and those daughters prostitute themselves to their gods,(H) they will lead your sons to do the same.

15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
16 And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
