Exodus 34:13-15

¹³ But ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their images in pieces, and cut down their ^[a]groves,

¹⁴ (For thou shalt bow down to none other god, because the Lord, whose Name is ^(A)Jealous, is a jealous God.)

¹⁵ Lest thou make a ^(B)compact with the inhabitants of the land, and when they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, some man call thee, and thou ^(C)eat of his sacrifice.
