⁶He made the atonement cover^(A) of pure gold—two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.

⁶He also made the ^(A)mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits was its length and a cubit and a half its width.

²⁰He took the tablets of the covenant law^(A) and placed them in the ark,^(B) attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover^(C) over it.

²⁰He took ^(A)the Testimony and put it into the ark, inserted the poles through the rings of the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of the ark.
