²⁰So Moses took his wife and sons,^(A) put them on a donkey and started back to Egypt. And he took the staff^(B) of God in his hand.

²⁰And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.

²⁹When Moses heard this, he fled to Midian, where he settled as a foreigner and had two sons.^(A)

²⁹Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.
