Exodus 4:22-24
New American Standard Bible
22 Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the Lord says: “(A)Israel is My son, My firstborn. 23 So I said to you, ‘(B)Let My son go so that he may serve Me’; but you have refused to let him go. Behold, (C)I am going to kill your son, your firstborn.”’”
24 But it came about at the overnight encampment on the way, that the Lord met [a]Moses, and (D)sought to put him to death.

New International Version

24 At a lodging place on the way, the Lord met Moses[a] and was about to kill(E) him.
