³⁶Whenever the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, the Israelites would set out on each stage of their journey,^(A)

³⁶In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out;^(A)

³⁷but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out until the day that it was taken up.

³⁷but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out—until the day it lifted.
