²³Ever since I went to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people, and you have not rescued^(A) your people at all.”

²³For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.

¹⁶“If a man seduces a virgin^(A) who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price,^(B) and she shall be his wife.

¹⁶And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.
