Exodus 6:3-5

3 I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty,[a] but by my name “The Lord”[b] I did not make myself known to them. 4 I also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they resided as aliens. 5 I have also heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are holding as slaves, and I have remembered my covenant.

3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty,[a](A) but by my name(B) the Lord[b](C) I did not make myself fully known to them. 4 I also established my covenant(D) with them to give them the land(E) of Canaan, where they resided as foreigners.(F) 5 Moreover, I have heard the groaning(G) of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered my covenant.(H)
