Exodus 6:3-5

3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, as El Shaddai. Yet by My Name, Adonai, did I not make Myself known to them. 4 I also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage where they journeyed. 5 Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of Bnei-Yisrael, whom the Egyptians are keeping in bondage. So I have remembered My covenant.

New International Version
3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty,[a](A) but by my name(B) the Lord[b](C) I did not make myself fully known to them. 4 I also established my covenant(D) with them to give them the land(E) of Canaan, where they resided as foreigners.(F) 5 Moreover, I have heard the groaning(G) of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered my covenant.(H)
