¹⁰ Then the Lord said to Moses, ¹¹ “Go tell Pharaoh that he must let the Israelites leave his land.”

¹² But Moses answered, “Lord, the Israelites refuse to listen to me. So surely Pharaoh will also refuse to listen. I am a very bad speaker.”^[a]
