Exodus 7:18-20
Common English Bible
18 The fish in the Nile are going to die, the Nile will stink, and the Egyptians won’t be able to drink water from the Nile.” 19 The Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Take your shepherd’s rod and stretch out your hand over Egypt’s waters—over their rivers, their canals, their marshes, and all their bodies of water—so that they turn into blood. There will be blood all over the land of Egypt, even in wooden and stone containers.’”
20 Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded. He raised the shepherd’s rod and hit the water in the Nile in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and all the water in the Nile turned into blood.

New International Version
18 The fish in the Nile will die, and the river will stink;(A) the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water.’”(B)
19 The Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your staff(C) and stretch out your hand(D) over the waters of Egypt—over the streams and canals, over the ponds and all the reservoirs—and they will turn to blood.’ Blood will be everywhere in Egypt, even in vessels[a] of wood and stone.”
20 Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord had commanded.(E) He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile,(F) and all the water was changed into blood.(G)
