⁹ It will become fine dust over the entire land of Egypt. It will become festering boils^(A) on people and animals throughout the land of Egypt.” ¹⁰ So they took furnace soot and stood before Pharaoh. Moses threw it toward heaven, and it became festering boils on people and animals. ¹¹ The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians as well as on all the Egyptians.^(B)

²⁷ “The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt,^(A) tumors, a festering rash, and scabies, from which you cannot be cured.

³⁵ The Lord will afflict you with painful and incurable boils on your knees and thighs—from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.^(A)

⁷ So Satan left the Lord’s presence and infected Job with terrible boils from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.^(A)
