⁵ Now if you will listen to Me and carefully keep My covenant,^(A) you will be My own possession^(B) out of all the peoples, although all the earth is Mine, ⁶ and you will be My kingdom of priests and My holy nation.’^(C) These are the words that you are to say to the Israelites.”

⁴⁴ For I am Yahweh your God,^(A) so you must consecrate yourselves^(B) and be holy because I am holy.^(C) You must not defile yourselves by any swarming creature that crawls on the ground. ⁴⁵ For I am Yahweh, who brought you up from the land of Egypt to be your God,^(D) so you must be holy because I am holy.^(E)
