12 So he turned this way and that, and he saw that there was no one around. So he (A)struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. 13 Then he went out (B)the next day, and behold, two Hebrews were struggling with each other; and he said to the [a]wicked one, “Why are you striking your companion?” 14 But he said, “(C)Who made you a [b]ruler or a judge over us? Are you [c]intending to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and said, “Surely the matter has become known.”
