¹² The Lord said to Moses, ^(A)“Come up to me on the mountain and wait there, that I may give you the ^(B)tablets of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.”

¹⁵ Then ^(A)Moses turned and went down from the mountain with the ^(B)two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets that were written on both sides; on the front and on the back they were written. ^16 (C)The tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.

^13 (A)And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, ^(B)the Ten Commandments,^{[a] (C)}and he wrote them on two tablets of stone.

²² “These words the Lord spoke to all your assembly ^(A)at the mountain out of the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and he added no more. And ^(B)he wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

¹⁰ And ^(A)the Lord gave me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of God, and on them were all the words that the Lord had spoken with you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire ^(B)on the day of the assembly. ¹¹ And at the end of forty days and forty nights the Lord gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.

³ And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of ^(A)the living God, not on ^(B)tablets of stone but on ^(C)tablets of ^(D)human hearts.^[a]
